Russian mega radar 37 km from Poland. It will allow monitoring all of Europe

The Moscow Times reports on the construction of a radar complex near the Polish border, featuring rows of antennas and double fencing. Initiated in March 2023, it may be part of Russia's 29B6 "Kontener" radar system, capable of tracking up to 10,000 aerial targets. A second radar facility is also being built nearby, potentially forming a unified system. The radar could detect aircraft and ballistic missiles within a range of 3,000 kilometers, enhancing Russia's response time in a NATO conflict. The Kaliningrad region remains heavily militarized, with ongoing infrastructure developments for military aircraft and S-400 systems.
