Marek Kmita, acting president of the Polish Olympic Committee, plans to propose Janusz Uznański as the new general secretary. Changes in the committee follow the arrest of former president Radosław Piesiewicz due to a sponsorship scandal. Kmita has already dismissed spokesperson Katarzyna Kochaniak-Roman and a lawyer, with Marek Pałus also leaving his position as secretary general.
