Ceasefire in Ołeszki. Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner: humanitarian aid will arrive on Friday

The first humanitarian aid transport to the occupied city of Oleshky is set to arrive on Friday after demining efforts. A ceasefire agreement is being respected, according to Ukrainian human rights spokesperson Dmytro Lubinets. Demining is progressing well, and aid is being prepared for residents. The ceasefire has been in effect for over 54 hours, with no violations reported. The situation in Oleshky is dire, with around 2,000 people lacking food and water, including 50 children. The ceasefire is intended to facilitate aid delivery and civilian evacuation, with plans for evacuees to be temporarily relocated to Crimea or Russia before returning to Ukrainian-controlled areas.
