Rubber boat with presumably dozens of migrants rescued from the sea near Zeeland

On Saturday morning, the Marechaussee arrested two individuals for human smuggling after a rubber boat with 38 people was found off the coast of Zeeland. Emergency services responded in large numbers to the situation near Breskens. The group was brought ashore in Cadzand, where they were provided with blankets and transportation. Further arrangements for the remaining passengers are being made.
