Over 1,300 arrests and dozens of officers injured in French demonstrations

Tens of thousands of French citizens protested again, expressing frustrations over various issues beyond education, including tax evasion and Gaza injustices. The government deployed 70,000 security personnel to prevent unrest, resulting in over 1,300 arrests despite most demonstrations being peaceful. Two protesters were seriously injured in Toulouse and Clermont-Ferrand. These protests coincide with the upcoming presidential elections, where Emmanuel Macron cannot run again, and Marine Le Pen is currently the leading candidate.
