Russia maintains military operations despite negotiations
Russia announced that upcoming trilateral negotiations with Ukraine and the US do not imply a reduction in military operations. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that military actions will continue despite the planned humanitarian ceasefire in Olechky. However, he acknowledged the possibility of new humanitarian ceasefires, particularly one initiated by US First Lady Melania Trump. The direct negotiations are scheduled for November in Abu Dhabi, although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not confirm the location. The ceasefire aims to provide humanitarian aid and allow residents to evacuate from Olechky, amidst ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
