One of the largest road investments in Małopolska has started. A new route and bridge over the Dunajec.

Construction has begun on a new route connecting national road 87 with provincial road 969 in Nowy Sącz, including a bridge over the Dunajec River. This significant investment aims to enhance transportation efficiency in the region, as emphasized by Małopolska Marshal Łukasz Smółka during the inauguration. The project includes a 3.5 km road, a 530-meter bridge, five roundabouts, sidewalks, and bike paths. Funded primarily by the Government Road Development Fund, the construction is expected to be completed by mid-2029, improving travel comfort in southern Małopolska.
