Ethiopian athlete Ruti Aga, winner of the 2019 Tokyo Marathon, has been suspended for six years after testing positive for a banned substance and manipulating doping control processes. She tested positive for methylprednisolone during a half marathon in China and attempted to falsify documents to justify her use of the substance.
