Ryanair plans new routes from Rzeszów. However, it will not establish a base for the aircraft here.
During a visit to Jasionka, Kaczmarzyk announced Ryanair's plans to double passenger numbers in Poland by 2034, aiming for 40-45 million annually. The airline will introduce six scheduled routes from Rzeszów this winter, including destinations like Alicante and Dublin. Ryanair expects to transport 540,000 passengers from Rzeszów in 2026, capturing over 55% of the local market. However, discussions about establishing an operational base in Rzeszów are on hold due to high fuel prices and the impact of the Ukraine war. Kaczmarzyk noted that the end of the conflict could enhance Jasionka's significance for Ryanair, potentially increasing traffic to Ukrainian cities. Ryanair has been operating in Rzeszów since 2005, contributing significantly to the local economy and job market.
