Ryanair announces the cancellation of 20 routes. Unofficially: It concerns flights to Poland, among others.

Ryanair is discontinuing flights from Brussels to several Polish cities, including Łódź, Poznań, and Warsaw. The airline is also cutting routes to Spain, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, and the UK, although these details are unofficial. The decision is linked to the Belgian government's increase in air passenger tax, which will rise significantly by 2027. Ryanair's CEO criticized this move, claiming it harms the competitiveness of Belgian airports and could lead to a loss of passengers and investments. The airline plans to relocate six aircraft to other European markets and has proposed a conditional plan to expand operations in Belgium if the tax increase is reversed.
