Rzeszów: 14-year-old hit on the crosswalk. The prosecutor's office has spoken out

An accident occurred last Thursday in Rzeszów when a 19-year-old driver, Maksym N., failed to observe the road properly and struck a 14-year-old pedestrian, Maksym L., while trying to overtake two stopped vehicles. The teenager sustained serious injuries, including three broken ribs and a fractured collarbone. The driver was sober and has been charged with violating traffic safety rules and causing the accident. He has been placed under police supervision and prohibited from leaving the country, with a bail set at 3,000 PLN. The injured boy has not yet been interviewed due to his condition, and authorities are awaiting a medical expert's report on his injuries.
