Sabyl Ghoussoub, the comings and goings of a Franco-Lebanese
In March, Sabyl Ghoussoub began writing for L’Orient-Le Jour amidst renewed conflict in Lebanon, documenting daily life in Beirut. His chronicles, published until July 28, are compiled in "Beyrouth ne meurt jamais," released alongside his fourth novel, "Mon imam." Ghoussoub, born in Paris in 1988, has a strong connection to Beirut, which features prominently in his works. He finds the name "Beirut" more beautiful than "Lebanon," viewing the city as a symbol of dialogue and freedom. His life oscillates between Paris and Beirut, with plans for a new project in Marseille.
