Insurance appeals to parties to put aside "party tricks" and focus on people's problems
President António José Seguro urged political parties to set aside partisan conflicts and focus on addressing pressing issues like housing and healthcare. He emphasized the need for collaboration among parties to find solutions that benefit citizens, particularly the youth. During a visit to a school in Leiria, he highlighted the importance of social cohesion for national progress and called for urgent dialogue to resolve housing challenges without resorting to violence. Seguro also encouraged young people to engage in meaningful politics and stressed that the government must ensure essential conditions for all citizens to realize their dreams. He noted that social discontent arises when people feel excluded from societal benefits and called for a collective effort to foster opportunities for the youth.
