Seguro and Felipe VI inaugurate exhibition on Camões

The heads of state of Portugal and Spain inaugurated an exhibition dedicated to Luís Vaz de Camões in Madrid, which will run until February 14, 2027. President António José Seguro is in Spain for the Ibero-American Summit and to attend António Guterres' honorary doctorate ceremony. The exhibition, titled "Camões. Life, Work, and Permanence in Hispanic Culture," aims to enhance the visibility of Camões' poetry in Spain. It features significant works, including manuscripts and early editions of "Os Lusíadas." The exhibition is a collaboration between the Portuguese government and the Biblioteca Nacional de España, marking a highlight in the celebrations for Camões' 500th birth anniversary.
