Six northern districts under yellow warning on Friday

The districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga will be under yellow warning on Friday due to strong maritime agitation. The warning, issued by the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), will be in effect from 09:00 to 21:00, predicting northwest waves of 4 to 5 meters. The yellow warning indicates a risk for certain weather-dependent activities.
