Six proposals to privatize SATA Handling
SATA received six non-binding proposals for the privatization of its handling services, which will now undergo analysis and evaluation. The deadline for submissions was Wednesday, and selected entities will be invited to submit binding proposals. Previously, eleven entities met the participation criteria set out in the privatization terms. The privatization process was initiated on July 1, with the aim of complying with European Commission requirements for financial aid recovery. Both Azores Airlines and SATA Holding must be privatized as part of this process.
