The Sejm adopted changes. The internet tax relief will disappear.

The amendment to income tax laws was supported by 371 MPs, with 8 against and 58 abstaining. It abolishes the internet tax relief but includes a transitional provision for first-time users in 2026, allowing deductions in 2027 as well. The new regulations will take effect on January 1, 2027. Proposed amendments by the PiS party to retain the internet relief and introduce a permanent robotization relief were rejected. The new law extends the robotization tax relief for 10 years, enabling businesses to deduct expenses related to industrial robots and automation technologies. Additionally, the expansion relief for CIT taxpayers is eliminated, which previously allowed deductions for marketing and adaptation expenses. The amendment also doubles the tax relief for blood donors to encourage donations.
