The Senate will address the prices of motorway tolls
The Czech Senate is set to discuss laws regarding the cancellation of automatic increases in highway sticker prices, adjustments to the validity of one-day stickers, and new regulations for foreigners. They will also address rules for reducing costs in building large electronic networks and changes to consumer credit regulations. A proposal to ensure regions receive a share of fuel tax revenue is likely to be included in the bill to abolish automatic price increases for highway stickers. Additionally, the Senate may legislate a reduction in the maximum allowable weight for loaded trucks to 40 tons. Other measures include accelerating the construction of high-speed electronic networks and reducing state compensation for basic postal services. The foreigner law aims to digitize residency permits, enhancing administrative efficiency and security. Lastly, a proposal to allow police to remove disruptive individuals from public spaces will also be discussed.
