Sensation off the Polish coast. Divers have found a wreck that was supposed to not exist

Radio Gdańsk reports the discovery of the wreck of ORP "Gdynia" in the Baltic Sea, previously thought to be fully salvaged. The wreck was found just a few kilometers from the shore, with Polish inscriptions on equipment confirming its identity. The discovery challenges earlier records indicating the ship was completely dismantled post-war. The Maritime Office has legally protected the site, and divers are collaborating with the Naval Museum in Gdynia to recover and preserve parts of the wreck. ORP "Gdynia" was sunk by German bombers on September 2, 1939, resulting in significant casualties among its crew.
