Sensation in the Polish Cup. A third-division team eliminated Lech Poznań

Arkadiusz Kasia scored the only goal in the match, leading Siarka Tarnobrzeg to a 1-0 victory over Lech Poznań in the Polish Cup. This match was significant for Tarnobrzeg, a team that once played in the top league but now competes in the third tier. Lech Poznań, the current Polish champion, had just won a league match against Legia Warsaw before facing Siarka. The Polish Cup rules state that matches are played at the lower league team's venue, and the next round pairings will be announced soon. The final is scheduled for May 2, 2027, at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
