Series of bomb threats on airplanes. More incidents
A series of false bomb threats in Europe continues, with five incidents reported in just two days, including two in Poland. On Tuesday, a plane from Israel landed in Sofia after a bomb threat, while two Ryanair flights were escorted to Rome due to similar alerts. All threats were deemed false after thorough checks by authorities. The Bulgarian Interior Ministry noted that these false alarms disrupt air traffic and often originate from IP addresses outside Bulgaria. In Poland, a Boeing 737 was redirected to Modlin Airport, and another SAS flight was inspected at Chopin Airport, both resulting in no findings. The situation highlights ongoing security challenges in aviation.
