Hundreds of kilograms of illegal tobacco and 400 liters of alcohol without excise duty
In late October, officials from the Pomeranian Customs and Tax Office in Gdynia, along with police, conducted searches in Lębork, uncovering significant quantities of illegal alcohol and tobacco. Nearly 400 liters of alcohol, over 720 kilograms of tobacco, and more than 600 cigarettes without Polish tax stamps were found. The potential loss to the state treasury was estimated at over 1.2 million PLN. A man suspected of storing these illegal goods was arrested and charged with a tax offense, with the investigation led by the head of the Pomeranian Customs and Tax Office.
