Bank unions cancel strike and agree on salary increase

Bank unions announced a 3% salary and pension increase agreement with credit institutions, leading to the cancellation of planned protests and a strike on November 30. The National Union of Bank Officers and three other unions reached this agreement with the Portuguese Banking Association and the Central Agricultural Credit Cooperative. They emphasized the importance of union solidarity in achieving this outcome. However, protests will continue for institutions not included in this agreement.
