Sint-Salvators Cathedral in Bruges better and smarter lit: "Less light pollution and lower energy bill"
The Sint-Salvatorskathedraal in Bruges has received new lighting that enhances its appearance at night while reducing energy consumption and light pollution. The city collaborated with Fluvius to install 112 new spots, which consume nearly seven times less energy than the previous system. This upgrade not only highlights the cathedral but also improves the lighting around the adjacent cemetery. The city plans to continue upgrading lighting for other monuments, with the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk next in line.
