Slaloming on an electric scooter between cars. Recording
On Wednesday evening, a person on an electric scooter was seen weaving between cars in Aleje Jerozolimskie, violating traffic rules. Riding an electric scooter in such a manner is prohibited and can result in a fine of 300 PLN. The maximum allowed speed for electric scooters is 20 km/h, and they must use bike lanes or roads where the speed limit is 30 km/h or lower. If the speed limit exceeds 30 km/h, riders should use sidewalks, adjusting their speed to match pedestrians. Children under 13 cannot ride scooters on roads unless supervised, while those aged 13 to 18 need a bicycle license. Riders cannot carry passengers, and from June 2026, those under 16 must wear helmets.
