Slavia Prague advanced to the quarter-finals of the domestic cup by defeating Zbrojovka Brno 4-0, ending a four-match winless streak. Mubarak Suleiman scored twice, with Wiktor Nowak converting a penalty and David Jurásek adding another goal. Liberec also progressed by beating Teplice 1-0, thanks to a goal from Lukáš Mašek. Zbrojovka had previously suffered a heavy defeat against Slavia in September. The match saw Slavia dominate after an early chance for Kanakimana was missed. Suleiman opened the scoring, followed by Nowak's penalty just before halftime, and Jurásek secured the win in the second half, with Suleiman scoring again late in the match.
