The Chamber is divided, relationships are strained, and it is heading towards another important meeting

A week after a contentious vote on abolishing broadcasting fees, opposition MPs claim relations with the coalition are strained. ODS club leader Marek Benda may skip the upcoming meeting where party leaders discuss agenda items. ANO club chair Taťána Malá recalls that the opposition often failed to adhere to agreements made in previous meetings, expressing hope that tensions will ease. Opposition members disagree with several procedural breaches, including informal agreements on daily discussions and the timing of votes. Motorist club leader Boris Šťastný believes the opposition will recognize the need to avoid blocking further legislation. The next meeting will address key issues such as state insurance payments and pension increases.
