The snow has cut off the world. What the locals found in the settlements in spring is one of the darkest chapters of Šumava.

Two small settlements in the Šumava mountains were isolated for months due to heavy snowfall, leading to a mysterious situation. When a health commission finally reached the villages in spring, they discovered a chilling reality. The harsh winter of the early 1950s was unprecedented, and the silence and abandoned homes hinted at serious events during the isolation. Karel Klostermann later documented this story in his writings, recounting the tragic fate of the inhabitants of Cimruk, which remains one of the darkest tales of old Šumava. The third episode of the podcast "Podivné zločiny" revisits this tragedy hidden by snow for weeks.
