Zoltán Sólyom became the CEO of Szerencsejáték Zrt.

Hungarian Finance Minister András Kármán announced the appointment of Zoltán Sólyom as the head of the state gambling company. Kármán emphasized that the company, which has been criticized for its opaque financial practices, is now in capable hands. Sólyom, a mechanical engineer by training, has extensive experience in the insurance sector, having held various leadership roles. He founded Palladium Consulting and has served on boards of other insurance companies. Despite a failed political bid in 2022, he has taken on roles in state companies since August, including positions at Corvinus International Investment Zrt. and Szerencsejáték Zrt. Kármán expressed confidence in Sólyom's ability to restore the company's integrity.
