Survey. Poles want restrictions on scooters

In mid-October, Warsaw city councilors voted to ban electric scooters in the city center and called for legislative changes to address safety concerns. A survey revealed that Poles prefer safety measures over a complete ban, with younger users opposing total restrictions. Support for a complete ban varies significantly by age, with older respondents favoring it more. Additionally, a majority support lowering speed limits for scooters and designating no-scooter zones. The survey showed that only 8.4% of respondents used electric scooters in the past six months, primarily among younger individuals.
