Poll: Poles convinced that Ukraine's defeat will reduce Poland's security

In 2023, Volodymyr Zelensky rejected a Russian peace proposal that included significant territorial concessions from Ukraine. The proposal aimed to establish a new demarcation line and required Ukraine to recognize Crimea as Russian territory. Concerns are rising about Russia's potential escalation against NATO, including intensified military actions and hybrid warfare. A recent survey indicates that a majority of older Poles fear for Poland's security if Ukraine loses the war. The survey showed that 63.3% believe a Ukrainian defeat would decrease Poland's safety, particularly among those aged 50 and over.
