Airlines are receiving bomb threats across Europe

Several passenger flights across Europe had to make unscheduled landings due to bomb threats on Tuesday. Anonymous threats prompted searches of the diverted aircraft, but no explosives were found. The incidents affected seven flights, including routes from London to Warsaw and Copenhagen to Warsaw. One flight was redirected to Modlin Airport instead of Chopin Airport in Warsaw, which was temporarily closed. This occurred a day after a similar incident in Budapest involving a flight from London to Sofia, which was escorted by Hungarian Gripen fighters.
