SpaceX doubles revenue and records over 4 billion dollars in profit thanks to AI and Starlink

SpaceX has significantly increased its revenue, doubling it to $14.6 billion in the last quarter, driven by AI and Starlink growth. The company reported a profit of $4.4 billion, a turnaround from a $1 billion loss a year prior. AI revenue surged to nearly $7.6 billion, marking an 830% increase year-over-year, largely due to new cloud service contracts and the acquisition of AI startup Cursor. Starlink subscriptions rose to 13.6 million. This marks SpaceX's first profit since its IPO in June, which was the largest ever. Elon Musk, who owns 48% of the company, has ambitious plans for AI data centers in space and missions to the Moon and Mars.
