A special police operation is underway near the border with the Kaliningrad region due to potential threats of diversion. Police Chief Marek Boroń stated that the mobilization is a preventive measure based on intelligence from external services. Additional police forces have been deployed from various provinces to ensure the safety of local citizens and facilities. Boroń emphasized that this operation is not related to recent events at the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw. Recent weeks have seen border incidents involving armed individuals and illegal migrants between Belarus and the Baltic states.
