Meeting of leaders from Russia, the USA, and China? Vladimir Putin made a proposal

Vladimir Putin proposed a meeting with Donald Trump in China during discussions with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff. He thanked Trump for efforts to end the war in Ukraine and announced the release of American Stephen Hubbard. The Kremlin indicated a potential trilateral meeting involving Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping at the upcoming APEC summit. Witkoff expressed hope for a ceasefire in Ukraine and urged the resumption of negotiations. Hubbard, an American detained in Ukraine, was released after being sentenced for fighting alongside Ukrainian forces. This was Witkoff's ninth direct conversation with Putin.
