They checked the tube that was supposed to go to the prisoner. It was not toothpaste.

During a routine inspection of a hygiene package sent to an inmate, Zamość prison officers discovered approximately 50 grams of a white powder hidden in a toothpaste tube. Preliminary tests identified the substance as mephedrone, which was secured and handed over to the police. The prison director initiated an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The discovery was attributed to regular preventive measures conducted by trained officers, including the use of specialized dogs and modern equipment to detect prohibited items and substances.
