Permanent US base in Poland. Three billion is just the beginning of expenses

The establishment of a permanent US military base in Poland is estimated to cost around 3 billion PLN, with additional infrastructure expenses potentially reaching several billion more. General Dariusz Łukowski highlighted the need for accompanying facilities such as housing, schools, and hospitals, as the base would support approximately 15,000 people, including families of soldiers. Four potential locations for the base have been suggested, with the final decision resting with President Donald Trump. The investment process is expected to take at least three years. The Polish government is seeking US military units that can enhance its defense capabilities, particularly in precision strike capabilities. The topic will be discussed in an upcoming National Security Council meeting.
