Storm Boelo causes flooded quays from Texel to Breskens

Storm Boelo caused flooding in various locations across the Netherlands, notably in Oudeschild where water reached restaurant facades. Wooden barriers and sandbags were used to prevent water ingress. The TESO ferry service anticipated cancellations due to high water but operated normally. The Hollandsche IJsselkering was closed for the first time this storm season, affecting water levels in Vlaardingen. Harlingen also experienced significant flooding, with water levels nearly 3 meters above sea level. Breskens harbor in Zeeland saw cars partially submerged due to flooding.
