Strage del bus di Mestre, in sette patteggiano a Venezia

Seven municipal officials involved in the Mestre bus tragedy have agreed to plea deals resulting in sentences of less than two years for multiple vehicular homicides. The accident, which occurred on October 3, 2023, resulted in 22 fatalities and 14 injuries. The plea agreements were approved by Judge Benedetta Vitolo in Venice, following negotiations between the defendants and prosecutors Laura Cameli and Giorgio Gava.
