Subaru chiude con benzina e diesel in Europa, solo EV dal 2028
Subaru will cease sales of combustion engine vehicles in Europe by the end of 2027 due to stricter EU environmental regulations. Starting in 2028, the company will exclusively sell electric vehicles in the region. The Outback station wagon will be the first model discontinued, followed by the Impreza, Crosstrek, and Forester in 2027. Subaru's European lineup will then consist of three electric models developed with Toyota. While future hybrid introductions in Europe are possible, no specific plans have been announced. In the U.S., Subaru will continue selling hybrid versions and plans to expand its EV range with the Getaway SUV next year.
