Russian nuclear submarine launches strategic missile that hits target in the Arctic

A Russian nuclear submarine successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Sea of Okhotsk, hitting a target in the Arctic region of Arkhangelsk. This exercise involved the Generalissimus Suvorov submarine, part of the Pacific Fleet, and was conducted as part of military training. The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the missile's warheads reached the designated test site on schedule. The test site is located over 600 kilometers from the borders of Finland and Norway, whose leaders recently spoke with President Vladimir Putin about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Putin emphasized that a lasting peace in Ukraine requires consideration of Russia's legitimate interests and criticized the confrontational policies of the EU and NATO.
