Supermarket freezers in Belgium and Sweden hit by suspected cyber-attack

A suspected cyber-attack has impacted numerous supermarkets in Belgium and Sweden, affecting refrigeration systems. Approximately 40 Delhaize and 15 Carrefour stores in Belgium, along with several ICA and Coop shops in Sweden, reported issues. Thousands of euros worth of food was discarded due to temperature malfunctions, with one store's freezers reaching 50°C. The origins of the attack remain unclear, following a similar incident in France. Delhaize confirmed a "computer incident" at its stores, while Carrefour is investigating. ICA is assisting affected stores, and Coop reported that the situation is under control.
