Supermarkets are making mistakes again with price tags and receipts
A recent survey by the Consumentenbond revealed pricing discrepancies in several supermarket chains. Vomar had an 18% error rate, followed by Jumbo at 14% and DekaMarkt at 11%. Other supermarkets showed errors between 6% and 9%. Albert Heijn and Lidl, using mainly electronic price tags, had minimal errors. Following previous agreements to reduce pricing errors, Jumbo and Vomar have removed problematic paper price boards. Jumbo has reinstated its price guarantee, offering customers free products if discrepancies are found. Other chains, including ALDI and Lidl, will also implement similar guarantees, while Poiesz will not participate despite having errors.
