Suspect of car theft in preventive detention

A 27-year-old man has been placed in preventive detention on suspicion of vehicle theft and burglary, with eight stolen vehicles recovered. The suspect, previously known for similar crimes, was arrested following a six-month investigation in Penalva do Castelo. He was caught driving a stolen vehicle during the operation, which involved the GNR's Criminal Investigation Unit and local military support.
