Suspect of robbery and violation in Anadia found in Spain

A 19-year-old suspect involved in robbery and assault in Anadia, Portugal, was extradited from Spain and is now in preventive detention. The crimes occurred on July 1, 2024, when the suspect and accomplices broke into a home, assaulting a 78-year-old resident. Following the incident, a European arrest warrant was issued. Four accomplices were arrested shortly after and sentenced in July 2025, with two receiving 10.5 years for robbery and kidnapping. The suspect is accused of violating the elderly woman while others used her bank card for withdrawals totaling over €1,600. The suspect's case was separated due to his flight after the crime.
