Święczkowski on meetings with the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal. "My sweet secret"

On Friday, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, the longest-serving judge of the Constitutional Tribunal, suspended the activities of President Bogdan Święczkowski and his deputy Bartłomiej Sochański. Święczkowski stated that other judges were arriving to discuss restoring the Tribunal's legal functioning. Tensions arose outside the Tribunal, leading to police presence. President Karol Nawrocki interrupted his trip to Senegal to attend the Tribunal, resulting in conflicting accounts of the events. He announced urgent consultations with parliamentary forces, citing a breach of constitutional order, while Prime Minister Tusk emphasized the obligation to restore the rule of law.
