Święczkowski in front of the Constitutional Tribunal. Attempt to breach the gate
Bogdan Święczkowski appeared at the Constitutional Tribunal, calling a locksmith to cut a chain at the entrance. PiS MP Mariusz Gosek attempted to assist in cutting the chain. Protesters breached the fence but were stopped by police. Święczkowski urged protesters to retreat, stating he would wait for President Karol Nawrocki. Police later reported the intervention was due to threats to the safety of judges and staff. Following this, the Tribunal announced a break in the duties of Święczkowski and Vice President Bartłomiej Sochański, citing disruptions to the Tribunal's functioning and the inability to convene a General Assembly for budget planning.
