Święczkowski: Sooner or later we will enter the Constitutional Tribunal

On Saturday morning, Święczkowski announced that legal judges of the Constitutional Tribunal are gathering in Warsaw to discuss restoring its functioning. He expressed hope for a meeting with seven judges to explore possible actions. Following tensions and police presence at the Tribunal, he emphasized the need for dialogue despite the recent events undermining compromise. The crisis escalated after the suspension of Święczkowski and Vice-President Sochański, with Anna Korwin-Piotrowska recognized as the new head. President Nawrocki interrupted his trip to Senegal to address the situation, leading to conflicting accounts of the events. Prime Minister Tusk stated that restoring the rule of law is a duty.
