Great news for Poland. A service center for Patriot missiles will be established here.
Sobkowiak-Czarnecka announced the establishment of a PAC-3 missile servicing center in Poland, the only one outside the USA. This center aims to service missiles for Poland and neighboring countries, significantly reducing servicing time from months to a shorter duration. The investment is estimated at around one billion zlotys, but details on its location and involvement of Polish defense companies remain undisclosed. Prime Minister Donald Tusk highlighted Poland's competitive bid against Germany for this strategic investment, which is crucial for the country's air defense program. The project involves collaboration among the USA, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden, with an agreement signed at the NATO summit in July.
