In 2024, Vakond Via donated 100 million forints, following a 200 million forint contribution the previous year. Other successful businessmen, like Mészáros Lőrinc, have also supported Megafon with substantial amounts. Both Szíjj and Mészáros have collaborated on various projects, including a state-supported starch factory. Their consortium won a highway concession in 2022, which was later challenged by the Tisza government for being unlawful and overpriced. Initially resistant, they eventually accepted the decision to terminate the contract.
